To obtain the organic certification, the trees have to be strictly chemical-free for three years prior to their first organic crop to ensure that no residues are present. They are then subject to periodical inspections and sampling by the local authorities to sustain the organic food certification.
We also produce the world famous organic Marcona variety, slightly smaller and more rounded than other almonds but juicier and sweeter tasting. Our almonds are perfect for shallow frying, dry roasting, using raw (either whole, in chunks, flakes, sticks or powdered as an organic food ingredient).

Chemicals, drugs and antibiotics are not something we normally associate with honey. But the truth is that if you eat conventionally produced honey, you are probably consuming chemicals. Non-organic beekeepers commonly use sulfa compounds and antibiotics to control bee diseases, carbolic acid to remove honey from the hive and calcium cyanide to kill colonies before extracting the honey, and of course conventional honeybees gather nectar from plants that have been sprayed with pesticides.
Organic honey must have a three kilometre radius of organic trees from which the bees collect the pollen to obtain the certification. Our delicious rosemary variety is typically produced in South East Spain and is world famous for its taste, texture and aroma.
